Horrified

I've just found out that one of my favourite perfumes, Davidoff Cool Water, is made by a Tobacco company!

I was just surfing on the jolly old inter-web-thingie as you do, one clickie leading to another until the horrible truth was revealed.

Don't think I'll be buying that perfume again ... shame, as it's really fresh and light.

Does anyone know if I'm safe with Clinique as I'd really hate to stop using my most favourite perfume?

:o(

Clinique is owned by Estee Lauder which is a big multinational and probably does test on animals, or has done. But probably not as bad as a tobacco company (and once every 3 years I buy Estee Lauder foundation)

I couldn't find any strong global boycotts but they are under boycott because their MD is pro Israel. So relatively speaking, not that bad!

I did have a look at the Clinique website and they say they don't test on animals. Although there is always the issue of ingredients being tested and brought in.
Certainly a better alternative then. :o)

Yes I would go with the Clinique. Its a shame that your favorite is made by the tobacco company, trouble is they make so much money they can afford to get their paws into everything else.

Hope you had a good Easter

These days it's hard to find many products that don't have someone behind them with dubious reputations!

And re: your last post; I was one of those kids buried behind a huge handkerchief, too. Later we found out the cause was nasal allergies, but they always said we were 'puny' young 'uns.

Here from Michele, hello!
